The Fieldpiece SC680 is a clamp meter designed for HVACR usage, with functionality including power measurement, phase rotation and more. The SC680 builds on the SC480 foundation, adding a variety of features, such as a swivel head, dual temperatures for Delta T measurement, as well as DC amps and diode testing for use with mini split inverters.

Job Link compatible
The SC680 is wireless, has a range of 115 feet, and is compatible with the Fieldpiece Job Link app. Job Link enables technicians to easily document measurements and clearly communicate the health of a system to customers.
Pair the SC680 with other Job Link tools, and easily document a complete system snapshot. Measurements are live and in real time so you can see exactly how adjustments are affecting the system.

Unlike earlier versions of Fieldpiece wireless tools, the SC680 does NOT require the JL2 transmitter.

Mini-splits
The SC680 is the only meter you'll need for troubleshooting mini-split systems. Dual Type K temperature ports to measure entering/exiting air temperatures and measure frequency (Hz) directly with clamp jaw. Reach those cramped mini-split connectors with the included RCT2 probe tips for voltage and resistance measurements.

3 phase power
Verify the order of 3-phase voltage lines with just two leads. Capture L1-L2 and L1-L3 to check that motor lines are correctly installed with Phase Rotation test.

VFD's
Take more accurate VAC and AAC readings on variable frequency drives with True RMS sensing technology. Measure the starting amp draw of a compressor with Inrush current mode.

Easy to use
Hang your SC680 clamp meter to any metallic surface with the heavy-duty magnet. When the job is done, store your test leads in the back case for tidy and convenient storage. See both voltage and amperage readings at the same time on the large dual display. Easily see your amperage readings no matter how you clamp around a wire with the swivel head AAC clamp.
