E4361A SAS Module Overview
Keysight's E4361A solar array simulator (SAS) DC power module replicates the output behavior of a solar array. Its main function is to act as a current source with minimal output capacitance. It enables quick alterations in the I-V curve, facilitating precise emulation of different solar arrays' output under diverse environmental conditions like temperature, age, eclipse, and spin.
E4360 Series of Modules
E4360 Series of Modules work in conjunction with the E4360A Modular SAS mainframe which is a dual output programmable dc power source. The E4360 modules are equipped with standard features that allow for the measurement of both voltage and current. Using the hardware trigger, it's possible to swiftly take measurements from as many as 100 outputs in less than 500 milliseconds. Plus, the E4360 has the capability to simultaneously log data for both voltage and current at a rate of 10 readings per second.
And to protect your device from damage, the E4360 modules are designed with safeguards against over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature. The E4360 can be set up in a way that if one module encounters a fault condition, other modules can detect it within 10 microseconds and promptly shut down to prevent any harmful conditions from affecting your Device Under Test (DUT).
