5627A-9-P Overview

The 5627A-9-P RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensor adheres to the standard 385 curve, enabling the complete utilization of your DIN/IEC RTD meters. Its construction incorporates a coil suspension element design, enhancing its resistance to shock and vibration. Offering both flexibility and durability, it features a mineral-insulated sheath that can be bent to a minimum radius of 19 mm (3/4-inch) except for 50 mm (2 in) area of sheath near tip. (Fluke lab requires 20 cm [8 in] of unbent sheath to re-calibrate.)

As for the INFO-CON termination on this PRT, it ensures correct temperature conversion. Inside the INFO-CON, a memory chip keeps calibration information for the attached probe. Simply plugging in the probe uploads the information to the readout, ensuring the correct temperature conversion for accurate, hassle-free measurements.

The 5627A Series

5627A series RTD probes have a temperature range up to 420 Celcius and an accuracy as good as +/- 0.025 Celcius. They come in three different lengths. Each precision thermometer comes with its ITS-90 coefficients and a calibration table in 1 Celcius increments.
