The USB-TEMP DAQ
The USB-TEMP provides temperature measurement flexibility as each channel can monitor any of the supported input types. It features eight, 24-bit analog inputs for precise thermocouple measurements, 2 S/s/ch sample rate, and 8 digital I/O that supports thermocouple, RTD, thermistor, and semiconductor sensor types.
Series Overview
All USB-TEMP Series devices support thermocouple inputs. The USB-TEMP and USB-TEMP-AI also supports RTD, thermistor, and semiconductor sensor measurements. Each device also includes eight digital I/O lines. In addition, voltage measurements are supported by the USB-TEMP-AI with 4 inputs ranging from +/-1.25 V to +/-10 V, and a 32-bit event counter that accepts frequency inputs up to 1 MHz. The internal counter increments when the TTL levels transition from low to high.
Both devices in the series offer the most accurate temperature measurement possible, since the internal measurement electronics accuracy exceeds the accuracy specifications of the temperature sensors. The combination of the USB-TEMP Series and the Measurement Computing DAQ software suite gives you a complete data acquisition solution that will have you taking measurements in minutes.
