The Moku:Lab Laser Lock Box is an all-in-one solution for laser frequency stabiliization. It enables you to lock a laser's frequency to a reference cavity or atomic transition using high-performance modulation locking techniques. The Laser Lock Box includes a Lock Assist feature, enabling you to quickly lock to any zero-crossing on the demodulated error signal.
Maintain frequency lock with two PID controllers
Individually configure high- and low-bandwidth PID controllers for fast and slow feedbackScan waveforms
Positive sawtooth, negative sawtooth, trianglePost-demodulation filtering
Filter demodulated signals with up to fourth order infinite impulse response lowpass filters: Butterworth, Chebyshev, Chebyshev II, Elliptic, Cascaded, Gaussian, Bessel, LegendreLock Assist
Quickly lock to any zero-crossing in the error signal using the "Lock Assist" featureOnboard oscilloscope
Probe with n the signal processing chain to observe signals with the integrated 500 MSa/s oscilloscopeStabilize a laser's frequency to a reference cavity or atomic transition
Supported locking techniques include Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) locking, heterodyne offset phase-locking, RF locking, and dither lockingFlexible configuration of the demodulation source
Demodulate signals with internal or external local oscillators; use the internal PLL frequency multiplier to demodulate up to the 250th harmonic or down to 1/8th of the fundamental frequencyApplications:
- Pound-Drever-Hall technique
- Precision spectroscopy
- Gravitational wave detection
- Custom phase-locked loop
- Other closed-loop control systems
