4x The Resolution, Half The Noise
The InfiniiVision HD3 Series oscilloscopes offer high-end technology in a small form factor. With an intuitive touch user-interface, industry-leading waveform update rate, and zone trigger, you can capture elusive glitches and anomalies not possible on other oscilloscopes.
Highlights
- Increase vertical resolution by four times with a
14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) - See smaller signals with a 50 µVRMS noise floor
- Find signal glitches with a fast 1.3 M waveform / second update rate
- Capture longer time spans at full sample rate
with 100 Mpts of deep memory - Display up to four independent signals and control the scaling individually
- Isolate signals in seconds with zone triggering -
simply draw a box on the screen - Characterize signals, hunt for errors, and save automatically
with Keysight Fault Hunter - Perform advanced analysis with fast Fourier transforms,
histograms, and Bode plots
All models are equipped with these standard functions:
- Frequency response analysis (Bode plots)
- Fault Hunter Software
- Powerful triggering and decoding serial buses including
I2C, SPI, UART/RS232/RS485 - Segmented memory
- MSO (HD3MSO logic probe sold separately)
- High-performance mask and measurement limit testing enabled in hardware
- Built-in function/arbitrary waveform generator
- Waveform and measurement histograms
- FFT, and more

See What You've Been Missing
Utilizing advanced hardware from the UXR Series, the HD3 offers exceptional resolution with quadruple the vertical accuracy, a 14-bit ADC, and reduced noise. This enhances precision in a more compact form, ensuring highly accurate measurements and a clear view of your device's signals.
Additionally, the new architecture features deep memory with dedicated chips for each channel (100 Mpts), eliminating interleaving. You can activate all four channels and still achieve maximum memory and sample rate. The custom MegaZoom 5 ASIC provides hardware-based functions like zone trigger, serial decoding, and mask testing.

Capture Smaller Signals With A 50 µVRMS Noise Floor
All electronic devices, including oscilloscopes, produce some noise. The aim is to reduce this noise as much as possible. A lower noise floor means the oscilloscope has less influence on the signal, leading to more precise measurements.
Keysight's HD3 establishes a new standard in noise floor performance with a 50 µVRMS noise floor at 1 GHz bandwidth. You can further decrease the noise using bandwidth limiting and waveform averaging options on the HD3.
Fault Hunter Software
Fault Hunter is a cutting-edge system designed for inspecting digital systems. It automatically assesses your signal's characteristics based on user-defined criteria, swiftly identifying and saving errors for you to review. It's highly adaptable, allowing you to set the test duration from a few minutes to two days. You can set up your device for testing on a Friday afternoon and return on Monday morning to a comprehensive test report, with billions of tests completed.
Automate complex measurements with advanced software capabilities:
- Convert time-domain signals into frequency-domain signals
using a fast Fourier transform (FFT) - Compare signals to pre-defined templates for
quick pass / fail analysis with mask testing - Analyze the statistical distribution of jitter and noise
with waveform and measurement histograms - Perform frequency response analysis with Bode plots
- Isolate signals in seconds with zone touch triggering
- Characterize signals, hunt for errors, and save them
automatically with Fault Hunter
