The Anritsu MA24103A Inline Peak Power Sensor provides accurate power measurements from 2mW to 150W, from 25 MHz to 1 GHz. Measurements performed are peak power, true-RMS power, and duty cycle. Calculations Performed are burst average power, crest factor, Complimentary Cumulative Distribution Function (CCDF), VSWR, return loss, and reflection coefficient. The MA24103A is currently compatible with most Anritsu handheld instruments.

Operation with PC

The power sensor can be used with a PC running Microsoft Windows (including Windows 11) via USB. It comes with PowerXpert application data display, analysis, and sensor control. The application has abundant features like data logging, power versus time graph, single sensor display, Real time settings update, and offset table that enable quick and accurate measurements.

Operation with Anritsu Handheld Instruments

Handheld instruments having the high accuracy power meter software Option 19 can operate both Inline Peak Power Sensors. The power sensor easily connects to these instruments via a USB A/Micro-B cable. The MA2410xA sensors are currently compatible with most Anritsu handheld instruments. Refer to your instrument technical data sheet or contact your sales representative to ensure compatibility.

MA2410xA Series of Power Sensors

The Anritsu MA2410xA Inline Peak Power Sensors are engineered to accurately measure average power ranging from 2mW to 150 W, within the frequency spectrum of 25 MHz to 4 GHz. These sensors utilize a "dual path" design that facilitates True-RMS measurements across the entire frequency and dynamic range, enabling users to gauge CW, multi-tone, and digitally modulated signals such as GSM/EDGE, CDMA/EV-DO, WCDMA/HSDPA, WiMAX, and TD-SCDMA. The forward direction path incorporates a 4 MHz bandwidth channel equipped with peak and comparator/integrator circuits, enhancing measurement capabilities with functions like PEP power, crest factor, CCDF, and burst average power. An additional detection circuit in the reverse direction introduces reverse power measurement features, including reverse power, reflection coefficient, return-loss, and SWR. The sensor is a comprehensive miniature power meter, thanks to the inclusion of a micro-controller, signal conditioning circuitry, ADC, and power meter.
