MSO3054HD Overview

The MSO3054HD Mixed Signal Oscilloscope (MSO) multi-function instrument can serve as your economical centerpiece for your test bench. It can be expanded as your needs change to integrate nine instruments in one, space-saving unit. Combine a digital oscilloscope, logic analyzer, function/arbitrary waveform generator, spectrum analyzer, digital voltmeter, high-precision frequency meter, protocol analyzer, Bode plot analyzer, and power analyzer into one cost-effective oscilloscope.


The MSO3054HD supports uninterrupted hardware real-time waveform recording and analysis of up to 125,000 frames, with USB memory export functionality. Enhanced FFT of up to 4M points supports spectrum analyzer functions such as frequency setting, waterfall curve, detection setting, and marker.

The 12-bit high-resolution ADC sampling allows for better restoration of waveform details, and it supports ERES (enhanced resolution) of up to 4-bit. Add to the MSO3054HD with the optional Uni-T UT-M15 logic probes for 16 channels of digital logic analysis (hardware standard), and unlock the built-in dual-channel, 50MHz arbitrary function generator with the MSO3000HD-AWG option to turn your MSO3054HD into a Bode Plot analyzer. Extend its capabilities further with the MSO3000HD-PWR option for power analysis, including power quality, harmonic analysis, ripple wave analysis, loop analysis, switching loss, and safety operation area.

With 54 kinds of parameter measurements, the MSO3054HDs can display up to 27 measurement parameters simultaneously, presented in histograms and trend charts. The multi-channel 7-digit hardware frequency meter supports frequency refresh time and adjustable effective digit settings. The digital voltmeter (DVM) multi-channel RMS measurement includes DC, AC RMS, and DC+AC RMS.

For more bus triggering and decoding options, add single bus types like CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, SENT, Audio, MIL-STD-1553B, ARINC429, and Manchester, either individually or with Decode Bundles. The new Autoset function uses a fast fuzzy algorithm with multi-channel parallel processing, enhancing efficiency and reducing mistakes.

The MSO3054HD's upgraded storage depth of 500 Mpts allows it to capture tens of thousands of waveforms in one capture, with customizable search conditions for locating sampled signals and finding waveforms of interest. Customizable search conditions and advanced analysis functions boost efficiency and enable more focused design and troubleshooting. Ultra Phosphor3.0 provides a super fluorescent display effect with up to 256 levels of gray. The 10.1-inch 1280x800 HD capacitive multi-touch screen supports gesture control such as click, slide, zoom, edit, and drag. The MSO3054HD offers a wide range of connections with flexibility and convenience, including USB Host, USB Device, LAN, EXT Trig, AUX Out (Trig Out, Pass/Fail, DVM), Gen Out, and HDMI. It also supports SCPI (Standard Command for Programmable Instrument) and features a built-in WebServer for accessing and controlling the instrument through a browser, supporting access from PC and mobile devices for cross-platform compatibility.

MSO3000HD Series

The MSO3000HD series high-resolution oscilloscopes offer a maximum bandwidth of 500 MHz and a sampling rate of 2.5 GSa/s. They include 4 analog channels and 16 digital channels, with a storage depth of up to 500 Mpt. It utilizes exclusive Ultra Phosphor 3.0 technology and features an advanced digital trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter.

These oscilloscopes support various advanced triggers, serial bus triggering and decoding, and provides advanced sampling and analysis modes such as spectrum analysis, power analysis, histogram, waveform recording, enhanced resolution (ERES), hardware-accelerated template testing, and search and navigation. They also offers multiple measurement and mathematical operations.
