SDG1032X Plus Overview
The SDG1032X Plus is a versatile signal generator designed to meet a wide range of testing needs. It features a maximum output frequency of 30 MHz and dual channels. With a 1 GSa/s sampling rate and 16-bit vertical resolution, it ensures high accuracy in both time domain and amplitude, resulting in more accurately reconstructed waveforms and lower distortion.
One of the highlights of the SDG1032X Plus is its Innovative TrueArb and EasyPulse Technologies. TrueArb technology not only retains all the advantages of traditional DDS but also eliminates the jitter and distortion that DDS may cause. TrueArb generates arbitrary waveforms point by point, ensuring that no detail is missed. Its innovative EasyPulse technology, capable of generating lower jitter Square or Pulse waveforms, brings a wide range and extremely high precision in pulse width and rise/fall times adjustment.
The SDG1032X Plus also features 8 Mpts of waveform memory, allowing for the creation of long-duration, complex modulated signals for precise testing. It can accurately simulate modulated signals and pulse sequences for modern communication systems, ensuring optimal system performance. Additionally, it is ideal for high-speed chip testing in the semiconductor industry, where precise timing and amplitude control are crucial for test accuracy. Researchers in the biomedical field can also use it to simulate complex bioelectric signals, aiding in the study of electrical signal transmission in living organisms and the development of medical devices.
Its PRBS pattern outputs from PRBS3 to PRBS32, create high-speed pseudo-random binary sequences (PRBS) with bit rates ranging from 1 µbps to 40 Mbps. This makes it ideal for testing high-speed serial communication systems. It can simulate real-world communication environments for protocols like Ethernet, USB, and HDMI, helping engineers identify potential issues. With built-in support for logic levels such as TTL, LVCMOS, and other standards, it can easily generate differential signals, making it especially suitable for applications that require high common-mode rejection ratios.
The device's multi-pulse output function enables quick measurement of switching parameters and dynamic characteristics of power devices. It supports up to 30 pulses, each of which can be independently set with pulse edge and positive and negative pulse width. Its double pulse testing enhances the testing efficiency and accuracy of devices such as Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBT) and Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistors (MOSFET).
For connectivity, the SDG1032X Plus includes standard interfaces such as USB Host, USB Device (USBTMC), and LAN (VXI-11). It also supports instrument control through a web browser via its built-in WebServer, allowing for remote completion of testing tasks.
Overall, the SDG1032X Plus is equipped with a high-performance sampling system, a variety of analog and digital modulation types, a high precision frequency counter, and 196 built-in arbitrary waveforms, making it a comprehensive tool for precise and versatile signal generation.
SDG1000X Plus Series
