Simple and Powerful No-code Interactive Automation for R&D Engineers

Keysight PathWave Instrument Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a software solution that enables no-code automation of bench setups, instruments and devices under test (DUTs). It is designed for R&D engineers and technicians who want to debug and verify circuits without the complexity and effort of writing custom scripts. With PathWave Instrument RPA, users can record and playback their interactions with instruments and DUTs, create and edit workflows with a visual script editor, remotely access and orchestrate their measurement setups, and collaborate and share their projects with team members. PathWave Instrument RPA works with any instrument or DUT that can be controlled remotely through Windows Remote Desktop (RDP), Virtual Network Control (VNC), built-in web interface, or target instrument use and automation applications such as Keysight PathWave BenchVue.

It also integrates with other PathWave software products to provide a seamless design and test workflow. PathWave Instrument RPA is available in four models: BV7001A (Standard), BV7002A (Advanced), BV7003A (Advanced), and BV7004A/BV7005A (Enterprise). The models differ in the license term and condition, the number of seats, and the number of instrument or DUT connections supported.

PathWave Instrument RPA is a PC and instrument-based software that requires Microsoft Windows 10 Home, Professional, Enterprise or Educational, 64-bit, minimum 5 GB free hard disk space, minimum Intel Core i5 CPU with 8 GB RAM, and recommended screen resolution of 1920 by 1080 with scaling set to 100%. It also requires Microsoft .NET version 2017 or later, Keysight PathWave License Manager version 2.4.1 or later, Node.js version 14.18.0 or later, Python version 3.9.6 or later, and Mosquitto Broker version 1.20 or later.
