PA920 (BX) High Bandwidth External Current Transducer Input Channel Card
Each electrical channel provides the PA910/920 power analyzer with one voltage and one current measurement which are always simultaneously sampled to provide the best power accuracy.
Channel Type B:
- Base 0.045% accuracy
- 4.5MHz bandwidth
- 1000Vrms max continuous voltage input
*This channel type is only installable into the PA920. This card is recommended for users who are performing higher frequency power analysis.
Current Input Option X:
- For use with an external shunt or low impedance voltage output CT (20µV to 15Vrms)
- Resolution down to 0.1µV
Modular Design means Flexibility
The PA9xx family uses a modular design approach to provide the performance you need at a price that meets your budget. The PA910/920 mainframe can have one to four electrical channels installed. Each electrical channel can be one of four types and each with one of two current input options.
Channel Types:
- V – Provides a base 0.045% power accuracy, 2MHz bandwidth, 24bit sampling and a 1000Vrms maximum continuous voltage input. This channel type is only installable into the PA910. This card is recommended for users who want the ease of use of the PA9xx family, but would like more accuracy at an economical price.
- U – Provides a base 0.024% power accuracy, 2MHz bandwidth, 24bit sampling and a 1250Vrms maximum continuous voltage input. This channel type is only installable into the PA920. This card is recommended for users who are looking for the best accuracy and performance available.
- K – Provides a base 0.045% power accuracy, 850kHz bandwidth, 24bit sampling and a 1625Vrms maximum continuous voltage input. This channel type is only installable into the PA920. This card is recommended for users who are performing higher voltage power analysis.
- B – Provides a base 0.045% accuracy, 4.5MHz bandwidth, 24bit sampling and a 1000Vrms maximum continuous voltage input. This channel type is only installable into the PA920. This card is recommended for users who are performing higher frequency power analysis.
Current Input Types
- T – Two Shunts (up to 32Arms continuous and 150Apk inrush) in a single input terminal pair with resolution down to 0.1µA, also capable of being used with a current output CT.
- X – For use with an external shunt or low impedance voltage output CT (20µV to 15Vrms) with resolution down to 0.1µV
*Each channel can be independently configured for voltage scaling (when using an external PT) and/or current offset and scaling (when using an external CT or shunt).
